The Alliance is governed by its Council, the highest body, which brings together representatives of all member organizations and meets at least once a year. Between Council meetings, the Bureau of the Council sets development policy, and the Presidium, headed by the President, runs day-to-day affairs and meets monthly. A Coordinator — one of the member organizations — manages the resources of joint projects and reports to the Council annually.
